Facebook and Social Media

Facebook and Social Media - The Next Marketing Opportunity

Marketing as an activity is all about reaching the right customers with the right products, and the result sought is delighted customers who are more than willing to open their purses wide enough to boost your revenues. For many years, marketers stalked their target customers through various means and by trying to get their message across to spread awareness about their wares.

Traditional Means of Communication

Traditionally, marketing communications were conducted via print, broadcast and such traditional media through disruptive advertising, where advertisements appear in between the content of interest for the customer.

Traditional media does give a large reach to a marketer with its programming of mass appeal. However, the wastage is equally high, since a large portion of the audience would belong to a different segment than the one that is to be targeted by the marketer.

Enter Social Media and the Internet

The revolution stirred by the internet as a medium took place because of the fact that it is highly personalized and provides more content on-demand than any other available medium. Social sites proliferated far and wide in their usage for a few simple reasons:

The power to create and distribute content is equally available to every user, irrespective of him/her being a customer or a marketer. In the earlier forms of media, that power rested with the editorial staff of the channel or the advertiser, but hardly ever with the user.
The medium is completely personalized, and a user can create or join groups and further create content based on what he/she likes.
Opinions are free and fair. This is one reason why social media is of utmost concern to marketers, since buying decisions are no more influenced as much by advertisements. The traditional word-of-mouth marketing approach has grown leaps and bounds on social networks.

Facebook – At the Center of Social Media

With 500 million (and growing) unique users worldwide, Facebook is the number one social networking site in terms of activity and subscriptions. What started as a garage initiative by Mark Zuckerberg has now become the biggest phenomenon on the internet.

A user interface that allows for quick communication and the ability to create fan pages and groups at the click of a mouse button are what make Facebook extremely popular. Another important reason for its immense popularity is the wide variety of social applications that have been developed and made available within the Facebook environment.

These applications can allow users and friends to do joint activities like playing games that run endlessly, sharing photos, videos, and web links, and many more.

How does this help a marketer?

Traditionally, media plans were drawn to include television channels, publications, or any other media that can grab maximum eyeballs and effectively reach a selected target audience. The science of segmentation and targeting has become only more accurate in the case of social media.

Facebook provides a wide variety of avenues to communicate with the audience, which opens up an entirely different world of possibilities to have a fruitful dialogue with customers. Some of these methods used popularly by marketers are:

Advertising: The first opportunity, which is the most obvious one, is advertising on Facebook. The difference, however, is the fact that you can create your own advertisement in a matter of minutes and also specify the details of your target group in terms of demographics and types of discussions where you want your advertisement to appear.
Fan Pages: Facebook allows every brand, as well as individual users, to create fan pages for their favorite celebrities and their own homegrown businesses. Large brands have also created their official pages on Facebook that have a huge, immediate fan following around the world. The fan page has immense utility to convey first hand information about the brand and also to collect immediate and frank feedback from your customers.
Branded applications: One of the most effective ways to engage a user toward your brand is by creating an application; this could be a game or a contest, with your branding coming across subtly through it.

What makes Facebook even more exciting is the way it allows you to target your communication sharply just to the customer segment you want to attract. It also provides analytics and page insights that give good feedback and measurement on the activity done.

The options provided by Facebook can be creatively explored and used judiciously for bringing about maximum benefits to any brand.

Blogging Helps You Get Better Search Engine Results

Here are some reasons why and how blogging helps greatly in
getting better search engine results.

1- Frequent Updates whenever Needed

Before blogs were popular, webmasters would have to manually edit
their site just to keep their content fresh. This takes time to do and
when things become repetitive, site updates become inconsistent which
is not good if you want good search engine results. With a blogging
platform, you can easily make updates to your site just by posting new
content that will append to your homepage.

2 - More Content means more Pages Indexed

The nice thing about blogging is that all of the entries stick there
unless you really want to delete them which is not recommended. For
example, if you blog consistently every day for one straight month,
you will have at least 30 entries that can all be indexed by the
search engine. In the long run, many of your most popular read entries
can hit the top search results and it can even be better if your
articles are uniquely written.

3- Improved SEO

Even if you aren’t very conscious about search engine optimization,
you will definitely have more search results if you keep your articles
unique. If you have a broader range of topics to cover, your site may
show up when different keyword phrases are being used. If you utilize
content writing skills and be focused on certain keywords per blog
entry, you can increase your site’s rank on that keyword or let your
site appear on more keyword phrases.

4- Link Baiting is there to Help

Some blog posts can be so well written and entertaining that other
blogs and sites would make a link to it. This should not only greatly
increase the traffic on your website, but also generate you more
search engine results because those pages that show your link can be
listed as well.

Promoting Your Blog

Promoting your blogs-Best 16 tips!

1.Set your blog to Send Pings. When this setting is activated, your blog will be included in various "recently updated" lists on the web as well as other blog-related services.

2.Activate Your Navbar. Do this and you might start to see the effects right away! One of the features on the Blogger Navbar is a button called NextBlog - click it to visit the next Navbar-enabled blog.

3.Install Email This Post. If you use Email This Post on your blog, people will be able to forward your posts to friends. This may not have an immediate impact on your site stats but it enables others to publicize your blog for you.

4.Turn on Post Pages. By publishing every post as its very own web page with Post Pages, you ensure that your entries are way more link-able and more attractive to search engines.

5.Turn on your site feed. When people subscribe to your site feed in their newsreaders, they're very likely going to read your post.

6.Add your blog to Blogger's listings. When you add your blog to our listings it shows up in Nextblog, Recently Updated, and other places. It's like opting-in to traffic.

7.Write quality content and do it well. If your "style" is bad writing, worse grammar, no punctuation, and an ugly design, that might be okay for a niche crowd. But the idea here is to achieve mass appeal, so fix yourself up a bit.

8.Publish regular updates. Simple: the more you blog, the more traffic you'll get.

9.Keep search engines in mind. There are a few things you can do to make your blog more search engine friendly. Use post titles and post page archiving. This will automatically give each of your post pages an intelligent name based on the title of your post. Also, try to be descriptive when you blog. A well crafted post about something very specific can end up very near the top results of a search.

10.Keep your posts and paragraphs short. Strive for succinct posts that pump pertinent new information into the blogosphere and move on. Keep it short and sweet so visitors can pop in, read up, and click on.

11.Put your blog URL in your email signature. Think of how many forwarded emails you've seen in your day, and just imagine the possibilities.

12.Sumbit your address to blog search sites and directories. People look for blog content at Technorati every day, are you on their list? You should be. Submit your blog's url to Technorati, Daypop, Blogdex, Popdex, and any other site of that ilk you come across.

13.Link to other blogs. Links are the currency of the blogosphere and it takes money to make money so start linking.

14.Install a blogroll. It's a very simple yet effective social networking scheme and it has the same result as a simple link if not stronger: traffic! So if you don't have one yet, sign up for a blogroll and get that link-list going.

15.Be an active commenter. This is in the same vein as linking. Most comment systems also provide a way for you to leave a link back to your blog which begs a visit at the very least. So if you feel inspired, leave a comment or two in your blog travels. It behooves you.

And Last Not least
16.Enable Following on your blog. Following a is a great way to keep your friends updated on the latest activity on your blog. New blogs will have this blog feature enabled by default, but for older blogs you will have to enable it from the Layout Page Elements tab.

Adsense-Year in review: 2008

As 2008 winds down, we'd like to follow tradition and close out the year with a look back at a few of the biggest happenings in AdSense. In 2008, we introduced new features like AdSense for feeds and an improved version of AdSense for search to help you generate additional forms of revenue. We brought Google Ad Manager out of beta to help publishers with smaller direct sales teams more efficiently sell, schedule, and deliver their ad inventory. At the same time, we worked towards providing more information within AdSense accounts. In April, we enabled the Ad Review Center in all accounts to help you review ads placement-targeted to your sites. And in response to requests for more insight into your reports, we launched link unit reporting and began inviting publishers to link their AdSense accounts with Analytics.

Internationally, we launched AdSense for content in Thai and also expanded Western Union payments to a number of new countries such as Egypt, Taiwan, and Panama. To help more publishers find answers to their questions, we launched AdSense Help Forums in Hebrew, Czech, and Slovak.

On the English Help Forum, we celebrated our 50,000th member and then unveiled a new platform with additional capabilities. Now, forum participants can vote on the best answer to their questions, subscribe to individual discussions, and receive replies to their threads via email.

In news closest to home here on the blog, the Inside AdSense family continued to grow with the launch of blogs in Russian and Traditional Chinese. With your support, our 13 global AdSense blogs received 3.8 million pageviews from 2.4 million visits this year. Through our blogs, we brought you a Newbie Fridays series, 'Optimisation Essentials' videos from our Australian team, and began distributing AdSense stickers. Check out the sticker requests, postcards, and notes we received in the photo on the right :)

Last but not least, the 2008 Reader's Choice Award for this year's most visited post goes to our April Fool's joke, 'Introducing AdSense for conversations'. Co-author Julie Beckmann had this to say: "A lot of hard work went into omega testing the product for this post. While I found the hat fit snugly, I was disappointed to learn the effect my Orange County upbringing had on my chats -- 17 'like's' sprinkled into a two-minute conversation? My chats aren't fit to be placement-targeted."

Optimization for Profit for blogger

Examine a regular link. A link is nothing more than a piece of text. It is what appears in your address bar at the top of the browser you are using right now or you can visit www.atoz-about-rss.com. It can also be an image that links to your blog but, for our example, we are using text.

Some of the factors that matter most are:

1) the website location which the link takes you to.

2) The actual text of the link. What does the link tell the Search Engines?

3) The PageRank of the page on which the link takes a Search Engine to.

For learning purposes you need to understand this information.

You naturally want the link to take the Search Engines to your blog but to which page of your blog? Do you want to link to an individual post or to your blog home page?

Since your blog should be a constantly updated website, it is always wise to point to your main page instead of individual posts because individual posts tend to be very time-sensitive.

One of my blogs, on News and Commentary, is a good example of this. Usually posts are outdated within hours or days of posting. The Search Engines will still list some of your posts based on the keywords. Remember Part 2 of this series? If you have not read the earlier parts of this series, click the link in the Author Box below.

Remember this: Page Rank is only a side effect of our real goal which is to get people onto your blog. People do not search according to Page Rank they search with keywords they type into the search box. If your keywords are poorly thought out you will not rank at all.

Your new blog will start out with no PageRank at all. Once the search engine robots find your blog, through links on other sites, or through articles you post in Article Directories (see Part 4 of this series), your blog will start gaining PageRank . Then, depending on the PageRank (keywords) of the referring page, your blog PageRank will climb even more. The referring page is the website/blog that is linking back to your blog. Search engines will find your link on their referring page and follow it back to your blog. Simple, eh?

When Your Only Hope is a Miracle

A few years ago, one of my brothers was diagnosed with an aggressive strain of leukemia. His initial prognosis was pretty hopeless. All we could do was pray for a miracle. God answered our prayers and when the doctors did his final exam, they found absolutely no traces of disease. They started calling my brother, "The Miracle Man."

There is only one true "Miracle Man" and He is Jehovah Jireh. When your only hope is a miracle, only God can provide what you truly need. 1 Kings 17:8- 24 tells the story of a woman who needed two miracles that only God could provide.

When the prophet Elijah first saw the Widow of Zarephath, she was gathering sticks to make a fire. The prophet asked her for water and food. She explained that she didn't have any bread and only a little flour and oil which she was going to prepare for herself and her son, so that they could eat and die.
Elijah told the woman not to fear, but instead to make a cake for him and then for herself and for her son. He shared with her what the Lord said - "The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth." The widow followed Elijah's instructions and as he said, the flour was not used up and the oil didn't run out.

After some time, the woman's son became sick and died. The woman cried out to Elijah who prayed to the Lord. He heard Elijah's cries and revived the widow's son.

We can learn from the widow's story:

Do Not Fear
Whatever the situation you may be facing, fully turn it over to the Lord. As long as you trust in your Heavenly Father, you can always have hope. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 1:7, "And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation." (See 2 Corinthians 1:3-7)

Listen To Those Who Are Encouraging You
God sent Elijah to a non-Christian to give her hope. As a believer, He will send you hope and encouragement through others as well. When you're going through a trial, surround yourselves with those individuals who will speak life to you.

Be Obedient
The Widow of Zerephath didn't ask Elijah any questions. She didn't call her friends to get their opinions. She didn't ask family members what they thought. The widow recognized that Elijah was a man of God and she did everything he told her to do. What is the Lord saying to you? It may not make sense in the natural, but we serve a God who can make the foolish seem wise. (See 1 Corinthians 1:25)

As a believer, you can believe in miracles and expect them. Don't ever give up hope. The Lord may not work out the situation exactly how you want Him too, but He will miraculously work it out for your good.
Digg it!

History of law

The history of law is closely connected to the development of civilizations. Ancient Egyptian law, dating as far back as 3000 BCE, had a civil code that was probably broken into twelve books. It was based on the concept of Ma'at, characterised by tradition, rhetorical speech, social equality and impartiality. Around 1760 BCE under King Hammurabi, ancient Babylonian law was codified and put in stone for the public to see in the marketplace; this became known as the Codex Hammurabi. However like Egyptian law, which is pieced together by historians from records of litigation, few sources remain and much has been lost over time. The influence of these earlier laws on later civilisations was small.
The Old Testament is probably the oldest body of law still relevant for modern legal systems, dating back to 1280 BCE. It takes the form moral imperatives, as recommendations for a good society. Ancient Athens, the small Greek city-state, was the first society based on broad inclusion of the citizenry, excluding women and the slave class from about 8th century BCE. Athens had no legal science, and Ancient Greek has no word for "law" as an abstract concept. Yet Ancient Greek law contained major constitutional innovations in the development of democracy.

Roman law was heavily influenced by Greek teachings. It forms the bridge to the modern legal world, over the centuries between the rise and decline of the Roman Empire.[67] Roman law underwent major codification in the Corpus Juris Civilis of Emperor Justinian I. It was lost through the Dark Ages, but rediscovered around the 11th century. Mediæval legal scholars began researching the Roman codes and using their concepts. In mediæval England, the King's powerful judges began to develop a body of precedent, which became the common law. But also, a Europe-wide Lex Mercatoria was formed, so that merchants could trade using familiar standards, rather than the many splintered types of local law. The Lex Mercatoria, a precursor to modern commercial law, emphasised the freedom of contract and alienability of property.[68] As nationalism grew in the 18th and 19th centuries, Lex Mercatoria was incorporated into countries' local law under new civil codes. The French Napoleonic Code and the German became the most influential. As opposed to English common law, which consists of enormous tomes of case law, codes in small books are easy to export and for judges to apply. However, today there are signs that civil and common law are converging. European Union law is codified in treaties, but develops through the precedent laid down by the European Court of Justice.

Ancient India and China represent distinct traditions of law, and had historically independent schools of legal theory and practice. The Arthashastra, probably compiled around 100 AD (though containing some older material), and the Manusmriti(c. 100-300 AD) were foundational treatises in India, texts that were considered authoritative legal guidance. Manu's central philosophy was tolerance and Pluralism, and was cited across Southeast Asia. This Hindu tradition, along with Islamic law, was supplanted by the common law when India became part of the British Empire. Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and Hong Kong also adopted the common law. The eastern Asia legal tradition reflects a unique blend of secular and religious influences. Japan was the first country to begin modernising its legal system along western lines, by importing bits of the French, but mostly the German Civil Code. This partly reflected Germany's status as a rising power in the late 19th century. Similarly, traditional Chinese law gave way to westernisation towards the final years of the Ch'ing dynasty in the form of six private law codes based mainly on the Japanese model of German law. Today Taiwanese law retains the closest affinity to the codifications from that period, because of the split between Chiang Kai-shek's nationalists, who fled there, and Mao Zedong's communists who won control of the mainland in 1949. The current legal infrastructure in the People's Republic of China was heavily influenced by Soviet Socialist law, which essentially inflates administrative law at the expense of private law rights. Today, however, because of rapid industrialisation China has been reforming, at least in terms of economic (if not social and political) rights. A new contract code in 1999 represented a turn away from administrative domination. Furthermore, after negotiations lasting fifteen years, in 2001 China joined the World Trade Organisation.

Divorce Settlement

If you are trying to settle divorce issues, financial needs will definitely surface especially if you and your ex-spouse want an equal division of conjugal assets. It seems that in this division of assets, your old home will be a bit of a problem. Releasing total equity of your home would require you to sell it. And because each of you would want to get on with your separate lives as soon as possible, having a quick sale is the solution.

But the way to a quick sale does not always come smoothly especially with little knowledge of property sales. A soon to be divorced couple who is new to the whole real estate jargon, more often than not, fall victims to the foreclosure spiral.
Let’s talk about mortgage before we go on to the foreclosure spiral. To most neophytes in the real estate arena, mortgages appear to be the only means of getting the fast cash to hasten a divorce settlement. The thing about mortgages is that you do get the fast cash and keep the ownership of your home at that but the fast cash comes in the form of a loan. This loan is usually payable on a monthly basis with the addition of tax and interest payments. Sometimes you would end up paying more than the sum you’ve borrowed; hence you lose more money in the long run. The danger about mortgages is with the monthly interest payments. They could, at best, stay the same, and at worst, go up. But in whichever case, there are still unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances that could affect your ability to pay these dues. One could be the loss of a job, for example. Losing your job will definitely affect your capacity to pay your mortgage dues and in the event that you are unable to meet the requirements set forth in your mortgage deal, you could fall prey to the foreclosure spiral.

What is the foreclosure spiral, you may ask. A foreclosure usually starts when you are unable to pay your monthly mortgage bills. When this happens, the bank or lender files a petition for a foreclosure and legal proceedings will be held. A foreclosure is a legal strategy that banks or lenders use to acquire the lost money in a defaulted loan. Simply put, because you are unable to return the cash, they take your house instead.

Among the various foreclosure options you will find out there, the safest and easiest is selling your old home to Cashout Options. Cashout Options is a California-based company that purchases single-family and multi-family homes throughout the state. Unlike other companies that are finicky when it comes to what property to purchase, Cashout Options purchases various kinds of properties, even rundown, dilapidated ones found in poorer neighborhoods. Believe it or not, the company also purchases homes that are in danger of repossession because of foreclosures! Because Cashout Options cares for its customers, it provides foreclosure assistance that will help you in stopping foreclosures. Its experts will provide you with vital foreclosure information and various foreclosure solutions that would fit your situation. They run things on a case to case basis so they could provide you with fitting foreclosure help.

If you want to avoid foreclosures, you should learn not to commit the neophyte’s common mistake of hiring some real estate agent to list your property for sale in the open market. This not only allows the probability of foreclosures but also delays equity release since it takes months to years for your property to sell. With Cashout Options, you are guaranteed to prevent foreclosures and at the same time sell your property for as quickly as 48 hours. All you need to do is fill out an online sellers form found in the company’s website: www.cashoutoptions.com or contact the company’s local affiliate. The company will assess your situation and contact you in 48 hours to 7 days.

5-step process to beating Wikipedia

1) Improve your writing style

You must improve your writing. If your writing is similar to the boring (although concise) Wikipedia text, you're doomed. Inject your personality and develop your own style of writing. My style of writing is very plain, direct and personal. Some people choose to write in a more poetic / scholarly way. Some people inject humor or use harsh words. No matter what, improving your writing style will set you apart and attract loyal readers to your blog.

2) Become more opinionated

People sitting on the fence sooner or later fall over. You either like something or hate it. If you're neutral, you're Wikipedia. Don't try to become another encyclopedia; become the most dramatic blogger or writer.

Express your feelings for a certain product or service you've tried, even if it means you may lose some affiliate commissions from your honesty. It's ok if some people hate the way you completely flamed a product or service. In the long run people will still prefer to read what you have to say then read a neutral page on Wikipedia.

3) Stay current and relevant

Read up on your industry, and put yourself in a position where you understand not only the past, but also the present and future of certain topics in your market. Wikipedia can't beat you if you can (based on your established position of an expert in a focused market) foretell the future and influence others to accept your views.

No one cares about history. They only care about the present and the future. If you are ahead of the market, or at least up-to-date with the latest developments, write about it and let people know.

4) Perfect your personal brand

Make everything you write, everything you sell, your sites and your design smell, taste and feel like YOU. It must be consistent enough so that people don't even need to read a site to know that it belongs to you. Don't brand yourself as a know-it-all; brand yourself as a true expert inn a niche market, and everyone will love you for it.

Wikipedia goes a mile wide and an inch deep. You on the other hand should go just an inch wide, but a mile deep.

You are a brand. Market that brand, and your online business will take a turn for the better. Unique branding, as history has proven, adds incredible power to any business.

5) Don't put all your eggs in SEO

Search engine optimization is great and all, but it only takes another 9 more Wikipedia type of sites to completely dominate the first page of Google. There's absolutely no way you're going to beat sites like that in terms of pure SEO.

Focus more on social networking, making friends, finding new business partners, and creating more non-SEO-dependent sites. There are other ways to get traffic to your blogs than just search engines, so get creative. If you're stuck with the idea of "Write great content and the traffic will come", you're in for a big surprise.

The bottom line is that you can't beat Wikipedia at their own game. Thousands have tried and failed miserably. But if you change your game, as far as your online business is concerned, you'll always win.

Six Simple Steps to Flawless Marketing copy

Have you ever visited a website that had poorly written text or read a brochure that had typos or spelling errors on the cover? I don't know about you, but I am always turned off by this kind of sloppy work. In fact, if the offending business isn't paying attention to these little details, I wonder what else it is missing. Maybe the company will mail my purchase to the wrong address or forget to gift wrap the package I need sent overnight. Of course, these scenarios are exaggerations, but that's the risk companies take when they overlook details like good copywriting and editing. When we see mistakes—even minor ones—we question the quality of a company's work.

How can you create a flawless first impression? Simple. Avoid copywriting and editing errors in your own marketing materials with these guidelines.

1. Identify your target audience and the voice you'll use when speaking to it. Are you offering your services to CEOs and top level managers? If so, consider using a professional tone in the third person (they, he, she). Maybe you want to appeal to parents of young children. Consider a more casual, friend-to-friend tone in the first (I, we, our) or second person (you). Be sure to consider the type of material you are writing, too. Brochures tend to be more formal than website copy, for example. Flyers and coupons, on the other hand, are often lighter in tone.

2. Present your information in a well-organized, easy-to-follow manner. How? Outline your ideas ahead of time and organize them as if you were a prospective customer. Ask yourself these questions: What problem is this business solving for me? What benefits will I get if I buy this product or service? How much does it cost? Why should I choose this business instead of another? Take your answers to these questions and logically organize them. On a website for example, your home page should tell prospective customers what problem you are solving for them and what's in it for them. Subsequent pages can discuss pricing (pricing or a rates page) and differentiation (about us, why choose us).

3. Write, revise, repeat. After writing your initial draft, set the material aside for a few hours or overnight if time allows. When you come back to revise it, you'll have fresh eyes and errors such as spelling, punctuation, grammar and organization are more likely to jump out at you.

4. Have someone else proofread your copy. No matter how skilled we are at writing and proofreading, we will always make mistakes. We're human and we can't avoid it, but we can improve our chances of error-free copy by having someone else proofread our work. Almost anyone will do—a friend, co-worker, spouse, teenage son or daughter, even a customer. Ask him or her to not only look for errors but to see if the information is concise and complete. Do you need more text? less text? Can you easily find the information you need?

5. Correct mistakes as soon as you find them. Imagine that you've published your copy to the web or had your materials printed before you find a glaring error. It's not the end of the world, but you'll want to fix it right away. Web changes can often be made quickly. Printed materials take a bit longer—and more money—to correct, so keep a file of changes to make before your next reprint.

6. Lastly, if this process is completely unappealing to you or if you are simply too busy, consider hiring a professional copywriter for the job. He or she will gather information about your intended audience, products and services, and company and, based on your direction, will write copy that is clear, concise and complete and that will draw in readers. To find a professional copywriter, try a Google search for copywriters in your region or look for local writing and editing organizations for referrals. Many have online directories that list qualified copywriters. When selecting a copywriter, I recommend that you contact two or three, read samples of their work and interview them by phone to see if your personalities and work styles are a match. This step may increase your marketing budget a bit, but the quality of your materials will be well worth it.

If you tackle your next copywriting project with these ideas in mind, your marketing copy will be flawless, allowing your message to shine through.

4 Ways You Can Make Money Online With Your Blog Post#

When you blog online, it is really important to be not shy about promoting products on your blog. In the past I used to think that if I pitched too much my viewers wont like it. But the fact is that the blogger also have to make a living from his efforts so once in a while it’s good to have a pitch on your blog but not too much.

Here’s are 4 ways I normally do it on my blog which I found great success with:

1. Direct Pitch Post

This style of writing may offend new readers if they just visited your blog but it does show a point and direct message to tell them to buy something. Although everyone do not like reading a sales pitch post, but if you not pitch to your viewers, your customers will never know directly what you are trying to sell them.

2. In Direct Pitch Post

I love doing this the most because the pitch is so hidden that you will never noticed it’s a pitch link. However I realized although you may have a high click through for the link. But the chances of them closing the browser after they click on the link would also be higher depending what the person offer on the sales page.

Some sales page would offer a free gift which I felt is a good way of generating leads and sales. But there are also some that only hard sell to you. There are pros on and cons to each type of sales copy but you should try a mix of both and test.

3. Review Products Post

A very innocent way to sell a product on your blog would be by reviewing people’s product. However you would not want your WHOLE blog to be about just reviews. You need a good mix of both quality information and reviews. Most blogger made a mistake of just providing information but do not offer any products or recommendations.

4. Put Your Affiliate Links To Keywords of Your Other Post

You can also promote affiliate links using hidden words or parts of your blog post on your blog. I had seen many bloggers do that quite often with great success and proof to convert also pretty well. There are also plug-ins you can buy to replace all words on your blog or some of the keywords to always point to your affiliate links too.

Mapping the World Wide Web with Bid Web Directories

The Internet does not remain static and mundane. It has to have new offers and progressive updates otherwise the web users will get bored knowing there are no new things to look forward to in the World Wide Web. But the truth lies where steadfast at every clicking of the mouse. New things are always being cooked up in the internet realm, in fact, a new system of websites indexing has become a popular piece of conversation among those who are connected through the internet link and for those who are making great fortune through the endless sources of making money online like webmaster do. This new concept is called bid web directory.

This recent update in the indexing of websites has made internet surfing for leisure and information a lot easier and thus life in the web less tedious in general. The bidding web directory follows one simple rule and that is to list all the websites into categories and the related sub-categories for the sole purpose of making the website search basically easy and simple. Through this new concept, all the websites are linked comprehensively making the World Wide Web closer and broader. This is an ambitious deviation from the typical search engine system the internet has introduced first to enormous web users where the web pages are all displayed and presented according to keywords only. Although this old fashioned way has literally helped the web users with the information search, the bid directory idea will save the web users from delay. The web users will not be hassled with clicking a link and opening the website only to discover that the website does not complete all the needed information.

The categorization of the websites with the bidding directory will introduce the web users with the corresponding webpage description first so that he is aware of what the website offers in a nut shell. Being saved from this simple delay means surfing time at optimum speed and the information gathering is at the right pacing, significantly. Now that is what one will call web navigation at its finest. The web directory generally enhances the surfing time and the surfing quality as well. This optimum search facility, more over is readily accessible in the web directory.

In a time where the Internet has become ultimately accessible to everyone, parents are in great concern about the kind of websites are listed in the web directory knowing how some crap sites can influence their children. That situation is typical with the search engine system where the web sites are jammed up and are indexed just like that. And following the truth that this free, the entrance becomes easier all the more. The discretion as to what will be found in the web directory will just fall into the web users. But with new concept offered by the bid web directory, the websites must pay some rough amount to maintain their ranking in the web lists as a toll for the indexing and the chance to be connected with other featured links. This amount of bid ranking fee means that only the best of the best web sites are included in the directory and that simply means that crap sites and similar bogus links are discriminated away from the web users, our children in particular. After all, crap sites and bogus links webmasters will not pay some rough dough for the bid only to mislead the web users.

Moreover, those who are earning a fortune through the websites and information providers are also in favor of the new concept. The directory will normally display the top ten ranking websites which means these are the ten websites that will most likely receive frequent visits being recommended by the directory through the page rank. Web masters can participate in the arrangement of the web lists ranking. While the directory can start the bid with practically the lowest amount, the webmasters have the option as to how much are they willing to bid for the position. The number one rank goes to the highest bidder and follows the deductive hierarchy. Similar to the typical bidding rules, somebody can outbid your position and rob it away from you. But the good side of the web directory idea is that you can rebid once more and perhaps compensate and regain your post.

Success At Your Fingertips

Affilate marketing and the use of the autoresponder go hand in hand like bread and butter. Its not common to find one on its own and in the internet marketing game its downright dangerous to not use one to collect the names and emails of your future customers and income stream.

Many newbies come into affiliate marketing very green and think they can make money fast and easy with only doing the basics and not actually commiting themselves to a long term business model or plan. The best way to take advantage of affiliate marketing is to create large amounts of traffic using blogs. This has many advantages including the fact that blogs are free to start, own and maintain and they are also loved by the search engines I you can provide unique content. It couldn't be made simpler for you to launch your blogs and post some free articles to them and then learn how this you can earn many thousands of dollars as you go.

All I really want to get across to you is the advantages to having your own Niche blogs as part of your affiliate marketing mix to help market your affiliate programs to your target audience, and the good news is that there are many many ways to monetize the traffic flows you have created .If you have no products of your own but want to earn money marketing affiliate programs you can set yourself up and succeed and this is the greatest thing I love about affiliate marketing, anybody can succeed at it. If you are an online entrepreneur or marketer and you have your own website then you can also promote your business and increase your sales through affiliate marketing. By applying these suggestions, you can easily grow your business through affiliate marketing. As long as the top marketers continue to make their millions and the rest continue to make reasonable amounts of money or no money, but have the urge to emulate the top marketers, Affiliate Marketing will continue to draw the attention and be popular with Home Based Business Entrepreneurs. Having established why affilate marketing is so popular, statistics have proven that only approx 5% of online marketers are making big money using affiliate marketing.

I believe the best thing with regard to affiliate marketing is the fact that you aren't limited to any single product or program. In fact,if you sprinkle around the affilate programs you sign up for you will be spreading any potentail risk and possibly overting a major failure in the future. Testing and measuring the best of these will provide you with information about what works and more importantly what doesn't.Before you begin your venture into affiliate marketing, it is necessary to choose the right programs for you.

This is best done by starting in the niches you already have established websites in as you will already have a traffic base. Then after cementing some results here you can venture out into promoting different programs and products.Affiliate marketing is only going to grow globally as the trends of internet sales and marketing increase and my guess is some of us stand to make an incredible amount of money by researching it and then just plainly going and doing it. Where will you be in 5 years? Because affiliate marketing has the huge potential to take you to where ever you want to go if you let it.

Three Blogging Tips

This article is not intended to provide you with a host of blogging tips, but simply to guide those of you who have either just started or have been blogging for a while but have some bad habits.

Bad blogging habits are easy to get into, and one of the worst is to leave your ‘About’ page unchanged. You know the page: it is provided by Wordpress as standard and a whole host of bloggers leave it unchanged. Why they do this is known only to them, because this is the first page that a large number of first-time visitors to a blog check out, and the reason why many of them leave without looking further.

All you have to do is to say a little about yourself, who you are, and what your blog is about, why you feel qualified to write a blog about this topic and how you can be contacted. If your blog covers a particular niche, rather than being simply a log of personal comments, then your potential readers will want to know why they should believe what you say by reading your credentials on the subject.

There is nothing wrong with having a personal blog about your personal thoughts on things, but if you are presenting yourself as a form of expert on a specific topic, then you will have to persuade readers that you have a right to do so. You should use your ‘About’ page to do that.

Another tip you should take is to claim your blog with Technorati. This registers it as yours with Technorati, and you can get a whole load more visitors. Since joining Technorati most of my blogs’ traffic rocketed. It takes a while for new blogs to get going, but it’s a lot easier if you make use of sites such as Technorati. The same is true of most of the social bookmarking sites if traffic is important to you. If you are using a blog to promote a product, then this is essential.

If you have a website then don’t get lazy and be content to run your blog from a hosting site such as wordpress.com. It is better to download the software from wordpress.org, and host your own blog. You have much more control over the look and feel of it, and can use any of the thousands of plugins that are available online. You can also use any template you want, or even design your own. That way you get total customization of your blog pages, and can make it more distinctive than the majority hosted on Wordpress or Blogger’s site. If you have tried and had problems downloading and installing it then send me an email. If needed I can take you through it online, or by telephone.

These are the two main tips that any blogger should take if they intend to blog seriously. However, was I to provide the third most important tip for anybody interested in blogging, then it would be to monetize your blog. Don’t blog for nothing. If your blog concerns a specific niche subject you can likely throw up one or two affiliate programs on your sidebar so that they appear with your new posts. A three column blog is useful for this, since your regular sidebar will generally be full of permanent links.

If you monetize using Adsense, a three column layout is even more essential, since you will want a vertical block down one of the columns, in addition to some at the bottom and the middle. A good Adsense layout would be a column to the left or right of the main text column containing a vertical ad unit, a horizontal link unit at the bottom of the blog, and also a horizontal ad unit at the bottom of the latest post. You could also include a search box at the top or bottom of your main sidebar that allows a search either on Google, from which you get income, or on your blog.

You could also include one of your websites as a second search option, providing three altogether. The income might not be a lot, but most blogs with a few hundred visitors a day should be able to make from $10 to $20 daily minimum, depending on the niche. All you need are a few blogs like that.

These are my three main blogging tips. Yours would likely be different, since blogging is a very personal thing, but if you take these three on board you will likely find that you will get more visitors, have more fun and also be able to put a bit put aside for the holidays or that unexpected bill that always comes at the wrong time.
