Google phases out support for IE6

Google has begun to remove support for Internet Explorer 6 browser, the weakest link in a cyber attack on the search engine.

The company said that since March 1, some services, like Google Docs, would not work "properly" with the browser.

We recommend upgrading individuals and businesses "as soon as possible."

Google threatened to leave the Chinese market following the "sophisticated and targeted" attacks, which he said originated in China.

Hackers used a bug in Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) browser to the target Gmail accounts from human rights activists in China.
